The Karate Kid 2 (2025)

In Karate Kid: Legends, Li Fong (Ben Wang), a kung fu prodigy from Beijing, relocates to New York City with his mother following a family tragedy. Struggling to fit in, Li is drawn into a karate competition to help a friend. His kung fu skills are insufficient, prompting his mentor, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), to seek assistance from Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). Together, they train Li, blending kung fu and karate techniques. The film culminates in a martial arts showdown where Li faces local champion Connor Day (Joshua Jackson). In a poignant moment, Li honors his late brother by performing a flying kick his brother once taught him. The film concludes with a post-credits scene featuring Daniel and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) discussing a new venture, “Miyagi-Dough,” signaling a potential future collaboration and bridging the legacy of both martial arts traditions.
